Applying for Scholarship Application
Documents and general information for students.
CRITERIA FOR AVAILING SCHOLARSHIP
  1. Scholarship will be awarded to students belonging to the Arya Idiga community and hailing from the Districts of Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Ramanagara, Kolar, Chikkaballapura, Tumkur, Mandya, Mysore, Chamarajnagara, Hassan, Chitradurga, Davanagere, Bellary, Vijaynagar, Raichuru, Koppal and Yadgiri.
  2. Scholarship will be awarded to students studying PUC, Diploma, ITI, Any Degree, B.E., BVSC, B.PHARMA, BHMS, BDS, MBBS, Any Master Degree, MVSC, and M.PHARMA AND MBBS.
  3. Students applying for the scholarship for the first time must have a minimum of 60% in their previous academic year. Students who have already received the scholarship in previous years must show a minimum of 5% rise in their progress reports from the previous to the present year's marks card reports.
  4. Students whose entire family holds a New BPL card (Aadhaar linked BPL card), low-income farmers, and agricultural laborers are eligible to apply.
  5. Scholarship will be discontinued after the completion of the course.
  6. Only students who study in colleges on a regular basis, affiliated with a reputed university, are eligible to apply.
  7. Those studying through correspondence or in part-time colleges are not eligible to apply.
  8. All applications will be scrutinized thoroughly, and economically weaker and meritorious students will be awarded scholarships.
  9. Students should have a bank account number in any core banking facility branch.
  10. No scholarship will be awarded to students who have passed on the 2nd or more attempts.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION FORM
  1. Fields marked with * are compulsory.
  2. Students applying for this scholarship should have a bank account number in any core banking facility bank, and they should enter their account number in the online application. Students should not provide their parents' or relatives' account numbers. Selected students will receive the scholarship amount directly to their bank accounts.
  3. Applicants must fill out the online application on the website and refer to the cut-off percentage for different courses. After completing the application form, the applicant must press the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the application.
  4. After pressing the SUBMIT button, the applicant will receive the filled application in PDF format along with the application number printed on it.
  5. Take a printout of the filled application, affix a passport-size photo on the application, and get a signature from your college principal/Head of the institution for verification and attestation of the photograph and the information contained therein. The Principal/Head of Institution shall sign in full and affix his/her office seal with an address. The form should also be signed by your parents/guardian.
  6. You can reprint or view your submitted application by entering your e-mail ID in the box given in the online application link.
DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED
  1. Passport size photo (affixed to the application).
  2. SSLC/10th, PUC/12th marks card, etc.
  3. Three-year previous year/previous semester’s marks card if studying UG or PG.
  4. Address proof and Identity proof pertaining to the applicant (Aadhaar card).
  5. Copy of Identity card issued by the institution.
  6. BPL Card (Newly Aadhaar Linked BPL Card).
  7. Transfer certificate issued by the institution on completion of matriculation, wherein the domicile and caste status of the applicant is mentioned.
  8. Fee paid receipt for admission to the current course being pursued by the applicant.
  9. Copy of Bank Account passbook showing student photo, account number, and IFSC code.
  10. Marks statements of the previous course pursued should be duly attested and signed by the Head of the Institution and contain his/her seal.
NOTE:
  1. The last date for sending the printed application along with all the documents is 30-11-25. Applications received after 30-11-2025 will not be considered.
  2. If you do not attach any of the above documents, it will lead to the rejection of your application.
  3. Only online applications with an application number and the required documents will be accepted. No other applications, like handwritten or similarly typed applications, will be accepted.
  4. Any issues and queries related to the online application should be sent via e-mail to jalappaedufoundation@yahoo.com.
  5. The above documents should be enclosed in the above serial manner, and the index number of the documents should be mentioned.
  6. Taluk and District and Online application ID should be mentioned on the envelope cover of the mail.
  7. Do not attach copies of the terms and conditions of the application.
